Dan Kaffe orders instant coffee plant from GEA Niro
GEA Niro has announced a new approx. euro 2 million order for spray drying technology for the Dan Kaffe factory in Johor Bahru in Malaysia. The order is for a complete spray drying plant to increase production of powdered coffee from the factory.GEA Niro has a long business relationship with Dan Kaffe having supplied the company’s first complete instant coffee plant back in 1993. This new agreement was negotiated this year with the contract being signed at the GEA Niro booth at the Tea and Coffee Exhibition and Symposium in Singapore on 16 March, 2011. The agreement was signed by Mr. Saragai, Managing Director for Dan Kaffe, Mr. Heessels, the company’s Plant Manager and Peter Randsted, Area Sales Manager for GEA Niro.
“We are very pleased to be working with Dan Kaffe again on this exciting project,” said Peter. “We have always had a very good working relationship with the company and look forward to a successful completion of the project later this year.”
For over 50 years GEA Niro has been recognised as a leader in the field of coffee processing. Today it maintains that position and has supplied over 200 plants worldwide with equipment for instant coffee processing alone.
