After a very successful performance last year also in 2011 Jenoptik's Lasers & Material Processing division will present its newest products together with three companies of Messer Group on one of the worlds’ most famous metal processing fairs, running in Stuttgart.

Jenoptik and three companies of the Messer Group share this year again under the motto "expertise unites" a common exhibition area. The product range of the companies completes the supply chain of each other perfectly: Jenoptik demonstrates its intelligent laser machines for 3D metal processing, Messer Cutting Systems presents its 2D laser / plasma / gas cutting systems. MesserSoft shows corresponding software solutions. Messer Industriegase is represented by the wide range of gases for cutting and welding. In that way interested exhibition visitors have an opportunity to get an all-around expert advice regarding the laser cutting and welding processes.

Laser robot BIM (abbreviation for ”Beam in Motion”) is the core element of a compact machine, presented by Jenoptik. All components of the machine such as robot, laser, cooler and a rotating table for assembling the working pieces are maintained on a platform of 12 m². That allows short set up and processing time.

Through the usage of the new laser sources by laser cutting and welding Jenoptik machines achieve high procession efficiency. Extra highlights of the integrated robot solution include e.g. a high processing speed coupled with high working precision. Especially by processing of the 3D working pieces these laser machines realise for Jenoptiks’ customers a technological advantage on their high competitive markets. The system that puts into effect this know-how is the laser cutting and welding machine of the series JENOPTIK-VOTAN™.

Further unique feature is that the laser beam path is completely integrated in the robot arm. Through that it is possible to perfectly adapt the modular system in laser type and performance to the necessities of the customers.

This and other products of Jenoptiks’ Lasers & Material Processing division will be presented between 6th and 9th of June 2011 at the booth 7308, hall 7 on Blechexpo, 10th international trade fair for sheet metal work in Stuttgart.
