PASSFEED OFFERS VIRTUAL CARDS

05-24-2019 09:25 AM CET | Fashion, Lifestyle, Trends

Press release from: Passfeed, Inc.

(New York, NY) May 14, 2019 — Looking to expand the boundaries of online shopping and money exchange, Passfeed has consistently sought to capitalize on consumer frustrations while shopping on conventional websites. The dream is simple: people should be able to shop, save and share deals without having to deal with credit cards or pay banking fees. Along with a robust shopping experience, Passfeed’s ever expanding offerings include virtual debit cards, gift certificates with merchants like Best Buy, Macy’s and Starbucks, ETF’s and even exclusive incentive cards.

Passfeed, “Your Social Shopping App,” has expanded to include its own virtual debit cards for consumers. These debit cards can automatically be filled and refilled for purchases. Customers can also send money from their digital wallet on the App to another user.

Passfeed has partnered with several major banks (CapitalOne, CitiBank) to offer a virtual debit Visa/Mastercard for its American customers. The company is confident that these partnerships will ultimately benefit customers who can use the App to shop and bank simultaneously.

“We’re expanding every day, and a virtual debit card for our customers will be a huge convenience. Customers can make purchases and refill their account without stepping foot inside a bank. It’s very simple: using a Passfeed-branded virtual card will give consumers the flexibility to buy items not only from Passfeed, but any other website site, too,” said Dennis Sary, Passfeed’s marketing director.

The virtual card continues on its path to help changing how the public uses digital wallets.

Passfeed, the Social Shopping App, was founded in 2016 by Richard Wang. His concept combined the business models of established businesses like Wish.com, Amazon and Aliexpress with the convenience of digital wallets. The upstart start-up provides a fully functioning shopping ecosystem where users are able to shop from 1.5 million items and, at the same time, share and obtain rewards and iPoints. The company sought to capitalize on most consumers’ frustration with the current banking and credit card fee environment. His dream was simple: people should be able to shop and share deals and savings without having to pay third party service providers a chunk of their hard earned money. This set of ideals laid the groundwork for what soon became one of the fastest growing Apps on iTunes.
