May 26, 2010: Q3 Technologies has signed up a contract with a Telecommunications Company based in Southern Europe to develop a native iPhone application. This iPhone application would enable the user to place and receive phone calls over WiFi or 3G networks using VoIP.

Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) synonymous with the term internet telephony is a technology which deals with the transmission of voice over the internet and other networks which use packet switching. VoIP technology basically converts our voice which is in the form of analog audio signals into digital signals.
