After reports of US Special Forces facing immediate opposition and having to sweep the house room by room, it has now surfaced that only one man was armed, and Bin Laden himself was unarmed.
Out of 210 Americans surveyed by Wepolls.com 48% believe that President Obama ordered Seal Team Six to take no prisoners.
An additional 20% either don’t care if the order was made to kill, or think it’s strictly a military matter.
“The results are not surprising,” said Wepolls.com Chairman, Alex Karendreas. “The last thing the country needs is a trial, followed by a sentencing phase, followed by an execution. It’s exactly what the terrorists want because it would make the United States a target as their ranks swelled.”
The American public seemed to agree.
Respondents overseas overwhelmingly believe that orders were to not capture Osama Bin Laden alive with 75% taking that viewpoint, including 100% of respondents from Pakistan.
