Bounty Hounds Online: Homepage is live

Hamburg, May 5. The German games company InnoGames has just launched the homepage bountyhounds.com for the upcoming Science Fiction spectacle Bounty Hounds Online (BHO). The page contains news about the free-to-play MMORPG, including screenshots and videos as well as information regarding the closed beta, which will begin soon. Simultaneously, InnoGames revealed more details about the game’s features and the story, set in the 25th century.
In BHO, man´s first encounter with Extraterrestrial Intelligence led to a huge galactic war. With the birth of the Federal Government, war has officially ended and military forces have been reduced. The peace that followed however is merely a façade and the government now relies heavily on Private Military Companies (PMCs) for their protection. These mercenaries, also known as Bounty Hounds, are uncontrollable and their numbers are growing. As one of the mercenaries who survived the galactic war the player will be part of the Private Military, fight for mankind and become a true hero.
Corona, Aurora, Nucleo and Umbra – in BHO the four mercenary firms vary in their numbers, morality and charismatic leaders. Corona attaches great importance to their good reputation, while Umbra does not care about the morality of their jobs, but about getting them done. Aurora operates discreetly, and Nucleo boasts about being the leading faction with closest contact to the Federal Government.

At the end of 2010, InnoGames purchased the license for Europe from Taiwanese developer Xpec Entertainment. Bounty Hounds has already been a great success on the Playstation Portable.
