The Tesla Roadster, the only electric supercar on the road today, will be available for test drives on Friday, April 29 at M.P. Demetre Jewelers, located at 253 King Street, Charleston, S.C. Along with hosting the event, M.P. Demetre Jewelers will be providing U Boat watches to test wear while driving the Roadster. The event is truly fitting, given the Roadster’s classic performance car style and U Boat watches’ unique look, performance and history.

Engineered for performance and efficiency, the Roadster accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, delivering 295 lbs-ft. of torque and 288 horsepower without using a drop of gasoline. Powered by the most energy-dense battery in the industry, the vehicle travels 245 miles on a single charge and plugs into nearly any outlet anywhere in the world.
