Laduj! - Poland's Hope up in Smoke

Laduj! - Poland's Hope up in Smoke

A Russian artist is renewing debate on the blame of the Smolensk crash last April by claiming Lech Kaczynski should held accountable for murder.

Vilnius, Lithuania, April 9, 2011 – Lech Kaczynski is a murderer says political artist Nadia Khuzina. The 28 year old artist is on a mission to show doubters of the cause of the Polish Air Force Crash in Smolensk was his fault, and that he should be held accountable, not be revered as a hero.

“It is disgusting to me the ignorance and false claims of a Russian conspiracy” Khuzina says. Then she goes on to angrily say “How can the Polish public look to him as a hero and blame Russia? It is crazy. He’s not a hero, he’s a murderer.”

Controversy still surrounds the sensitive issues regarding the crash. Most in Poland regard Kaczynski in the highest regard, and he was laid to rest with former Polish Kings in Wawel Cathedral. The Polish people who have seen the painting see her new work depicting Kaczynski as a libellous attack on Poland itself.

Khuzina embarking on her mission from her neutral operations point of Lithuania sees things differently, she says “I only want the truth to come out from this painting and for Poland to accept reality.”

The work titled “Laduj!” and her tirade against Kaczynski can be seen on her blog at: nadiakhuzina.com/blog.php?entry=16.
