Modnique.com Teams Up with Much Love Animal Rescue For A Fundraiser Benefitting Man’s Best Friend

Flash Sale Site and Non-Profit Organization Raise Funds to Help Animal Rescue

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 7, 2011) – All animals deserve a safe and happy home, and this is why Modnique.com, Los Angeles’ private shopping site, is teaming up with Much Love Animal Rescue to raise awareness and reduce neglect of domestic animals. From April 6th-13th, Modnique.com will donate a portion of the proceeds from select merchandise sold on the flash sales site to the non-profit organization. On April 9, 2011 dog lovers, families and their pets will gather at the Barrington Dog Park in Los Angeles to launch the fundraiser for an all day extravaganza.

Attendees, including celebrity guests Lacey Schwimmer (ABC's Dancing With The Stars), Mike Catherwood aka Psycho Mike (KROQ radio personality) and Jason Lewis (Sex And The City), and their furry friends will be able to enjoy tasty food and drinks, courtesy of Kogi BBQ and Sweet Leaf Tea. Pets will also be able to have a “woof” of a time dressing in costume and taking pictures from Hollywood Photo Booth, getting pampered by Town & Country Pet Grooming, and snacking on peanut butter flavor “pup-cakes” from Cupcakes A Go Go. iPads will also be available on-site for guests to contribute to the online fundraising on Modnique.com to complete a family-friendly, wholesome fun day in the sun, all for a great cause.
