Clarion Events opens office in Abu Dhabi

Clarion Events, and its subsidiaries The Energy Exchange and World Refining Association, have been granted a trade license to start operations in Abu Dhabi and have opened a new office to support its work in the upstream and downstream oil and gas sector in the Middle East.

The new office in Abu Dhabi:
* Reinforces our commitment to our clients and the region with a locally based team and
infrastructure
* Broadens our market reach to the entire GCC
* Enhances our product portfolio increasing opportunities for further expansion both
within the UAE and the wider Middle East

"As the energy industry in the Middle East continues to grow, we believe that it is important as a business to be at the forefront of that growth," said Claire Pallen, General Manager of Clarion Events Middle East. "We have such good working relationships here in the Middle East and want to show our commitment to the region for the long term."

Clarion Events Middle East and in particular, its subsidiaries The Energy Exchange and World Refining Association, produce high level, conferences, workshops, seminars and networking occasions for the upstream and downstream oil and gas industries in the Middle East. They work closely with National Oil Companies, Ministries and Operators in the region to promote the Middle East as an international centre for the energy industry.
