Press release from: Safety Labs Inc

Early warning technology reduces readmissions and morbidity bringing new level of efficiency to remote care.

Sarasota Florida and Ottawa, Ontario – April 15, 2019 - Safety Labs and Alive Sciences today announced that Safety Labs’ remote care platform now provides an integrated Alive Science’s Early Warning system based on the Rothman Index. The integrated solution enables Home healthcare agencies, Senior Living, ACOs and Hospitals to provide “Right care at the Right time” reducing readmissions and ER visits.

“We are happy to see how a nearly health warning technology which was invented for acute care in hospitals is now elegantly available through Safety Labs’ remote care platform” said Darlene Arbeit, COO of Alive Sciences. “This integration will bring remote homecare to a higher level of efficiency and safety”.

"We are excited to integrate Alive Science’s Early Warning Index technology with Safety Labs’ remote care solution. The integrated solution brings a new level of efficiency into healthcare, by helping seniors age in place with healthy lifestyles and providing round-the-clock health monitoring they need to remain in their homes or age well in a senior living," said Sanjay Chadha, CEO for Safety Labs Inc.

With our partners, we are now in the process of rolling out this integrated solution through early deployments with home healthcare and senior living providers.

About Ivory – Ivory is the world’s only remote healthcare system which provides remote patient monitoring, telemedicine, remote physical exams, patient education and PERS in an integrated environment using the patient’s TV.

About Rothman Index - The Rothman Index (RI) is at the forefront of predictive analytics in healthcare. The RI is the only general measure of patient condition and is integral to an array of effective predictive analytics in healthcare. It leverages the investment hospitals have made in electronic health records (EHRs), utilizing existing, real-time data to quantify and visualize patient acuity and risk.

The Rothman index enables organizations to deliver a higher quality of care without having to invest heavily in additional staff, resources, and training. By helping providers detect subtle health declines in patients faster and more easily, the odds of potentially life-threatening medical errors, particularly during hand-offs and shift changes, are reduced. It helps avoid unnecessary and costly hospital readmissions and help healthcare facility staff make smarter decisions regarding patient transfers and discharges.
