Terryville, CT – Advanced Micro Controls Inc. (AMCI), releases their new DC60 absolute multi-turn analog rotary shaft encoder in a compact and cost effective 60mm package. These encoders offer analog current or analog voltage output and can be ordered with a full scale output over any number of turns between 1 and 1,024. The analog output has 16 bit resolution regardless of the number of turns encoded. AMCI’s new DC60 analog rotary shaft encoder boasts resolver-based technology for superior durability, comes standard with IP67 protection rating, and is available with aluminum or full stainless steel housing.DC60 Features:
• Multi-turn feedback (1-1024 turns)
• Current or voltage analog output
• 60mm housing
• Four conductor wiring
• No specialty input module required
• Resolver-based durability
• IP67 Ingress Protection Rating
• Stainless steel units available
The Package
AMCI’s DC60 Absolute multi-turn rotary shaft encoders are offered in a 60mm diameter package, and are available with either 2.65” flange or 58mm servo mounting styles. The units come with an industry standard M12 connector and are available with either an end or side connect option.
The DC60 analog encoder is resolver based and supplies absolute position feedback without glass discs or sensitive LED components, enabling it to withstand high levels of shock and vibration.
