Sixt become first car hire company to offer the Audi A1

The Audi A1, Audi’s award winning supermini car, is now available to rent for the first time in the UK from leading car hire company Sixt rent a car.

Sixt added the stylish car to their fleet this week making them the first rental company in the UK to offer the A1. The A1 has already picked up a host of accolades including the prestigious What Car? Car of the Year 2011 award having only been released onto the market in November last year.

The A1 is available to rent from Sixt locations across London, Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol and Edinburgh. The A1 is a truly striking car that comes in a variety of models ranging from the 1.2 FTSI to the 1.6TDI. Its sporty appearance disguises a fuel efficient drive with the 1.2 litre engine cars offering a combined consumption of 55.4 mpg. A further benefit is the utilisation of stop start technology making it one of the most environmentally friendly cars of its type.
