The Petrobras-hosted Rio Gas Forum announces new speakers and sponsors in the final 2 weeks before the event. New speakers include; Luis Eduardo Duque Dutra, Chief of Staff, ANP; Symone Christine de Santana Araujo, Director of the Department of Natural Gas, Ministry of Mines and Energy; Nelson Silva, President, BG Brasil; Jorge Ciacciarelli, Director, Repsol Bolivia.
The Opening Address will be given by Antonio Eduardo Monteiro de Castro, Executive Manager Gas & Energy, Petrobras and new sponsors announced include Shell, Galp Energia, Pace Global and DNV.
The Rio Gas Forum features; a Pre-Salt Investment Workshop- Mastering the New Brazilian PSA led by Baker Botts, a new international LNG suppliers' panel, a site visit to the Guanabara Bay LNG Terminal and a keynote address by Mario Salazar, Vice President, YPFB.
A further new added value feature at the Rio Gas Forum is the CWC Dynamic Insights Report, written by industry expert Professor Edmilson Moutinho dos Santos, Associate Professor at University of Sao Paulo & Consultant to the Brazilian Gas Industry. The report is a summary of the major announcements by key speakers at the Forum plus expert insights and analysis.
Rio Gas Forum is the premier Gas, E&P and LNG event in South America and provides an international delegation with the opportunity to get updates on the latest onshore and offshore exploration activity and maximise their involvement in the new projects in the South American gas sector. Delegates will have the opportunity to meet with Petrobras executives and the Forum expects to welcome 200 delegates to the Forum 12-15 April 2011.
