Employment Law Alliance Honored With Legal Marketing Award
SAN FRANCISCO (Mar. 30, 2011) – Employment Law Alliance (ELA) Founder and CEO Stephen J. Hirschfeld was recently honored with the 2011 Legal Marketing Association (LMA) – Bay Area Chapter’s Rella Lossy award. Given each year to a practicing attorney, the award celebrates career-long support for and achievement in legal marketing.“It is a great honor to be recognized by the LMA, although this award really belongs to every member of my organization. Their dedication and passion have helped build the ELA into the go-to place for multi-nationals seeking global legal services,” said Hirschfeld, who is also a partner at Curiale Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP in San Francisco.
In his acceptance speech, Hirschfeld, who founded the ELA in 2001, described the organization’s genesis as a way for successful, established labor and employment-focused law firms to offer greater geographic reach to their clients by partnering with similar firms across the globe. He also described the collegial atmosphere that he and fellow ELA members work to maintain, noting that friends take care of each other and, by extension, each other’s valuable clients. Today, Hirschfeld’s vision has evolved into the largest network of labor and employment firms in the world with experienced employment lawyers in 126 countries and all 50 U.S. states.
“Two of the most important touchstones in today’s legal marketplace are service and value. By continually fine-tuning and expanding our network, we feel that these are being provided not just to our members, but, ultimately and more importantly, to the clients they serve,” Hirschfeld added.
The Legal Marketing Association – Bay Area Chapter is the regional arm of the national organization and brings together a diverse network of in-house marketers and administrators, legal industry consultants and practicing attorneys. The Bay Area Chapter draws its membership from across the San Francisco Bay Area – including Sacramento and Silicon Valley.
