Press release from: MOOYAH Burgers Fries and Shakes

/ PR Agency: Power Public Relations, LLC
MOOYAH, one of the country’s leading restaurant concepts serving high quality burgers, fries and shakes, today announced its ranking of fourth on FastCasual.com’s sixth annual Top 100 Movers & Shakers list.

The Top 100 is a ranking of the best fast casual concepts of 2010. This year’s winners were the ones the panel singled out as brands who were able to use the recession as an opportunity rather than an obstacle and leverage their creativity and innovation to propel their concepts forward.

The panel also examined each brand’s marketing, food and technology trends. Panelists included Darren Tristano, EVP of Technomic, Linda Duke of Duke Marketing, Kathleen Wood and Valerie Killifer, senior editor of FastCasual.com.

“It’s very special honor to be named again this year in Fast Casual’s Top 100, especially within the top five,” says Rich Hicks, MOOYAH Co-Founder. “Despite a rough economy, MOOYAH has continued to grow and attract the interest and involvement of some of the best operators in the business”.

Burgers are made to order from 100 percent fresh lean American beef that doesn’t include additives, fillers or preservatives and is never frozen. Buns are freshly baked, and hand cut fries are cooked in trans-fat free oil. Real ice cream milkshakes come in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry or Oreo.

Food quality, freshness and taste are paramount, but a lot of attention is also given to making MOOYAH restaurants fun, convenient, and service-oriented for every guest.

MOOYAH has also embraced technology to market the brand and improve the customer experience. Last October, the company partnered with Mobestream Media, the creators of the widely used Key Ring mobile application, to launch a Moo Croo loyalty rewards program for MOOYAH customers.

The company has also continued on with it’s MOOYAH Madness contest again this year via text messaging. Starting March 28, the day after the NCAA final four are chosen, customers can text their tournament winner pick to enter for a chance to win free MOOYAH for a year. Plus, anyone who picks the correct winner will receive a “buy one get one free” voucher.

All members of the MOOYAH text club are welcome to participate in the Madness program. To become a member, anyone can text “MOOYAH” to 89686. Starting March 28, users can enter the contest by responding with A, B, C, or D to nominate their pick. Message and data rates may apply. All entries are due by April 1, and the day after the tournament concludes (April 5), prizes will be announced.

“We love using technology to engage our customers,” says Hicks. “Technology, contests, better burgers, great service, and fun—everything contributes to creating the MOOYAH Magic”.
