A new specialist Wind jobs website has been launched that covers a wide variety of wind related jobs that are based in the United Kingdom and Worldwide.

Dublin, Ireland, March 25, 2011 -- The new WindJobs (http://www.windjobsuk.com) website covers a variety of areas in the wind sector including wind jobs, wind farm jobs, wind turbine jobs, wind energy jobs and offshore wind jobs.

From a candidates perspective the WindJobs website has been designed to be extremely user friendly and intuitive to use. As well as benefiting from standard features such as “Job alerts by email” and “Email a friend” WindJobs “Smartsearch” technology ensures that job seekers find the exact type of vacancy that they are looking for as well as receiving automatic recommendations on other suitable positions. From a recruiters perspective the candidate management system has been designed to be extremely user friendly and gives the recruiter full control of their recruitment campaign as well as being easy to integrate with multi-posting software providers. The recruiter can easily manage their recruitment process with functionality such as being able to post, edit and delete their job postings. Recruiters are also able to pre-qualify candidates by asking them to complete a number of important questions when they apply to a job they have listed.

In order to give clients a wider potential audience for their job postings WindJobs has developed a wind talent finder network in partnership with some of the most popular and best known generalist job boards. The WindJobs talent finder network means that when a job is posted on the WindJobs website it will also automatically be posted on a number of other job boards including Simplyhired, Workhound, Mitula, Indeed, Workhound and Businessgreenjobs.

Jonathan Kyle (WindJobs - Director of Strategy) “With the number of people who will be employed in the wind industry due to increase significantly over the coming years we felt that now was the right time to launch a specialist wind jobs website. Indeed research carried out by the European Wind Industry Association (EWEA) has estimated that the number of people employed in the Wind Industry in Europe is set to increase from a current figure of 192,000 to over 440,000 by 2020. The initial feedback about the website from both candidates and clients has been extremely positive in terms of the websites functionality, navigation and ease of use”
