IChemE Australia – Using Operating Envelopes to Reduce Costs
'Operating envelope' is a term familiar to all chemical engineers but has never been more than a concept. The meeting aims to give delegates an introduction to how the operating envelope concept has been applied using Geometric Process Control and how it can be used for condition monitoring, fault detection, dynamic alerts and process control of batch and continuous processes.
This technology won the IChemE Award for Innovation in 2006 and the EPSC Award for the biggest single contribution to increased process safety in 2003.
