WiTech S.p.A. today announced they have released the new Freeware Edition of TEA|WiMAX, one version of the TEA business case analysis tools, built over six years of industry experience with strategic assignments and projects for major operators and equipment vendors.
The new Freeware Edition of TEA|WiMAX is WiMAX 2.0 ready, like the Professional, Educational and Corporate Editions. Thus, new features have been added to guarantee the full compliance with the IEEE 802.16m specifications, such as multi-carrier operations, improved MIMO modes, extended channel bandwidth, etc.

“Releasing the new freeware edition of the TEA|WiMAX, we desire to make available relevant opportunities offered by WiMAX. Without barriers, players could perform easily and freely the business case analysis for a WiMAX initiative” said Andrea Calcagno, founder and CEO of WiTech.
