Pemco strengthens their market position by integrating the Wrapmatic products in their portfolio

Sheboygan/Bologna, March 8, 2007 - The Körber PaperLink Group has restructured their business activities to strengthen the product areas of their companies. In the context of this re-organization, the Wrapmatic product line will be integrated into the existing product portfolio of Pemco Inc., Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA.

The complete folio-size and cut-size ream wrapping business (Wrapmatic brand) formerly belonging to KPL Packaging S.p.A., Bologna, Italy, will be fully integrated into the product portfolio of the KPL company Pemco. The Pemco product range now includes packaging lines for cut-size and folio-size paper and board, SHM folio-size sheeters and specialty stationery packaging machines for envelope filling and sealing.

With immediate effect, Pemco will take over business responsibility for the entire Wrapmatic product line and will coordinate all activities related to sales, machine production, the supply of service parts and technical services.

Pemco is a manufacturer of complete packaging lines for cut-size and folio-size paper and board, SHM brand folio-size sheeting systems for paper and board, and specialty stationery packaging machines for envelope filling and sealing. The cut-size paper packaging equipment includes wrappers, labelers, stacker-accumulators, case packers and lidders. Pemco also represents the Wrapmatic brand, which includes folio-size and cut-size wrappers.
Pemco is part of Körber PaperLink, a system supplier of premium solutions for the paper, tissue and absorbent hygiene industry.
