Vincent Lee, Public Relations manager of China electronics shop FocalPrice said Chinese entities were only to eager to lend a hand because Japan had been such a help to them when China was coping with the effects of the Sichuan earthquake three years ago.

“Japan helped out a great deal during the horrific events of the 2008 Sichuan Earthquake so it is only fair Chinese businesses help them out in their time of need,” said Mr Lee.

Mr Lee said the FocalPrice store was also , donating 10% of its total Facebook shop revenue until April 6 to the American Red Cross to show its support for Japan survivors.

“FocalPrice will be donating no less than 1000 USD to Japan, in fact it is the company’s firm belief that it will be donating much much more,” said Mr Lee.
