China Electronics Shop FocalPrice To Give A Portion Of Earnings To Japan Rescue
Shenzhen China (OpenPR) March 18,2011: China electronics shop FocalPrice intends to give a sizeable part of earnings to the Red Cross this month to aid with the rescue efforts in Japan say representatives.Japan was devastated by a tsunami and magnitude 9 earthquake on March 11. It has taken the lives of an estimated 10,000 people, left a little under 1/2 a million without homes and much of the country without electricity or water.
The globe has been rallying to provide aid to the stricken country with $34 million being raised by the American Red Cross to help with the recovery and rescue.
Chinese companies and entities are also helping with the online China electronics shop FocalPrice even giving up a large part of the earnings from its Facebook shop until April 6
Vincent Lee, The Public Relations manager for FocalPrice said the China electronics shop wanted to make a real, worthwhile contribution to the disaster clean up.
“Japan helped out a great deal during the horrific 2008 Sichuan Earthquake so it is only fair Chinese corporations help them out in their hour of need,” said Mr Lee.
The China electronics shop announced on Tuesday that it would donate 10% of its total Facebook shop earnings til April 6 to the American Red Cross to show its concern and gratitude.
“FocalPrice will be donating no less than 1000 USD to Japan, and hopes to be donating much much more,” said Mr Lee.
