Exciting 5th AGEL World Tour Soft Tennis Championships Held at Fitz Club, Pattaya
Competitive tennis players from 10 countries participated in the 5th AGEL World Tour Soft Tennis Championship 2019.
Mr. Ronnakit Ekasing, Deputy President of Pattaya City and Mr. Kamthorn Intrapichai, President of Thailand Soft Tennis Association, presided over the opening ceremony. The tournament has been certified by the Asian Soft Tennis Federation and Soft Tennis Association of Thailand, where athletes from 10 countries namely; Thailand, South Korea, North Korea, Japan, China, Poland, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, and India participated in the event.
The 5th AGEL World Tour Soft Tennis Championship 2019 marks an important milestone in Thailand’s Soft Tennis community as it gave them the opportunity to have talented athletes from other countries visit Thailand and help Thai athletes practice their skills in an international championship level. The association also took this opportunity to select the national athletes who will participate in the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games which will be held in the Philippines at the end of this year.
