OLYMPUS INNOV-X ANNOUNCES NEW DELTA-50 HANDHELD ANALYZER FOR EXTENDED ANALYTICAL CAPABILITIES
Olympus Innov-X is excited to announce its DELTA-50 XRF analyzer, an evolution of the popular DELTA Premium handheld XRF analyzer series. The DELTA-50 is powered with a 4W, 50kV x-ray tube—ideal for the preferential excitement and analysis of toxic metals including Cd and Ba in plastics, electronics, soils, and metals, as well as rare earth elements (REEs) including La, Ce, Pr, and Nd in outcrop, ore and drill samples.The DELTA-50 brings the power of a mobile lab to a handheld system—ruggedized and ultra portable. Users now have a choice for in-field optimized analysis of heavy elements: the 10W, closed beam X-5000 mobile lab or the new handheld and ultra-portable 4W DELTA-50.
Olympus Innov-X’s DELTA line of XRF analyzers couple high resolution, large-area silicon drift detectors (SDD) with a powerful 4W tube to deliver fast and precise compositional analysis of a multitude of samples – consumer goods for regulated element screening, soils for toxic element evaluation, and ores and exploration samples for metal content grading. With dramatically faster technology yielding shorter testing times, DELTA analyzers allow hundreds more tests per day while also providing significantly higher analytical confidence. The real value arrives in the field, where operators can now make decisions in real-time with no, or greatly reduced, reliance on off-site laboratory testing.
