Weiss Products, Inc. Purchases BAR-F and Pelham-Ascot Horse Boot Brands
Rocklin, California based Weiss Products, Inc. has acquired Bar-F Products, a 30 year supplier of leg protection products, and Pelham-Ascot among other related product lines from Sports Prescriptions, Inc.In taking over the brands, Weiss Products has expressed a commitment to growth initiatives including increasing the scope of products and ensuring their long standing reputation of top quality products at great values. Regarding the transaction, CEO Leon Weiss said, "We are very excited about the opportunity to work with such long standing, respectable brand names in the horse tack industry. We will continue to work closely with our customers, researchers and development team to provide riders with the most effective lower leg protection at superior values.”
The transition of the product lines will be facilitated with the continued advisement of Stanley French, CEO of Sports Prescriptions, Inc. and there will be no interruption of product distributions.
