Gardere Announces New Chief Marketing Officer
Shawn L. Adams
Mr. Adams will oversee Gardere’s marketing and business development efforts, working with team members in managing the daily operations of the marketing support function, as well as participate in the strategic business development and strategic revenue initiatives of the firm.
“We are pleased that Shawn has decided to join Gardere,” says Steve Good, Gardere’s Managing Partner. “He comes to us with an exceptional background and we are fortunate to have someone of his caliber leading our marketing and business development operations. His previous business development and marketing experience, coupled with his operational background at a large national law firm, will add value to this new position.”
Mr. Adams is a well-respected senior leader in the professional services arena. He joins Gardere from Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, LLP, where he served as the Chief Administrative Officer over the past three years, and his responsibilities focused on Operations, Human Resources and other administrative oversight functions. He previously worked more than eight years at Pitney Bowes Management Services where he was responsible for Business Development and Operations on a national basis.
“I am genuinely excited about having the opportunity to utilize my previous background and expertise to build upon Gardere’s widely respected success while fostering a Marketing and Business Development Team that will assist the firm in meeting its strategic initiatives over the short and long-term,” said Mr. Adams.
Mr. Adams received his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas.
