ELSE Corp Unveils the 5 Eras of Beauty Industry Transformation at Cosmoprof 2019

Milan, 15 March 2019 - ELSE Corp - a Virtual Retail Company, an Italian start-up working on the development of the Virtual Retail platform, E.L.S.E. (an acronym for Exclusive Luxury Shopping Experience) that proposes a new Virtual Shopping experience in 3D, was one of the Technological Partners for this year’s edition of the Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Awards. The event, which took place in Bologna from Thursday, March 14 to Monday, March 18, was organized by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna and dedicated to the entire beauty production chain.



Andrey Golub, CEO and Co-Founder of ELSE Corp, was invited for the second consecutive year to participate in CosmoTalks 2019. A panel of professionals, digital executives and market trendsetters presented their vision of what to expect in the coming years for the different retail channels related to the topic of “RETAIL X BEAUTY”. Andrey Golub presented an industry roadmap concerning brands, retailers and consumer interactions starting from when technology was not widely used to present day, when Augmented Reality displays and Artificial Intelligence are gaining more relevance with each day. The industry roadmap showed what challenges and opportunities beauty brands face in the field of technology and retail as a result of changing business models and how companies relate to their customers.



ELSE Corp was also participating as part of “The Concept Store” curated by Centdegrés, which allowed customers to experiment with these cutting-edge technologies. The store featured four other companies in addition to ELSE Corp. Phillips Interact shared “Signify”, an app created to improve light performance in physical stores. Viewtoo presented their app “ZAPPAR”, which transforms physical products into digital form, and HOLOFIL showed their holographic beauty experience offerings. Finally, Revieve provided individual-based skin routines from the analysis of selfies and videos uploaded by users.



The Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Awards was a great opportunity to understand the evolution of the beauty industry at an international level and to hear about the new technological solutions that will shape the future of beauty retail. The industry can expect new and personalized customer experiences where Virtual and Augmented Realities, Holographic Technologies and Artificial Intelligence play an essential role.
