Bucharest, Romania, March 07, 2011 - IP technology is by now commonly used by governments as a mission-critical technology. The use of VoIP technology in the air traffic control communications system would allow more flexible and easier way to maintain aircraft control than conventional communications infrastructure. It demonstrates it can meet the ease of use and reliability standards required for air traffic communications, and the industry is starting to recognize it as a practical choice to present ATC systems.
