The British holidaymaker will switch loyalties when it comes to choosing a holiday, and will grab any chance to save money and ensure they get value for money, and already the great British public are looking around and planning for the best possible deal around.

Trying to please the whole family is not easy, purely for the fact that everyone wants different things, but there are holiday parks in the UK that have a variety of accommodation, and a fantastic mix of activities and sport, also an opportunity to relax, and more importantly will fit very nicely into your budget.

According to a survey Britons take an average of around 120 holidays during a lifetime and spend more than £168,000 and a recent poll found that a holiday ‘life’ from say 18 and lasting for around 60 years, involves spending over £2,750 a year, it also shows that young and not so young alike, opt for the most popular spot for a break a holiday parks in Devon and Cornwall.

The reason that families choose these holiday parks on a regular basis is simple, ease of travel, lets face it if you are traveling with toddlers and children is can be very stressful if going abroad, children get fed up very easily, and simply do not want to wait in a crowded airport for hours on end, when you can arrive at your chosen holiday park in the UK and be unpacked and out enjoying yourself before you have reached the front of the queue to check in for your flight.

Survey after survey have shown that Devon and Cornwall is a ‘hot spot’ for holiday makers who are looking for value for money, and Cornwall’s holiday parks have a variety of accommodation to suit everyone, it can be standard or luxury, touring caravans, tents pitched on the campsites offering the get ‘back to nature’ feel, but whatever you choose you will receive a warm welcome.

Holiday parks are designed with families in mind and offer activities to suit the whole family, and a spokesman for Wooda Farm Holiday Park in Bude Cornwall said “a holiday on our park will certainly give a family value for money, we have a variety of options, with regard to accommodation, you can site your own touring caravan, or motor home, or rent a luxury static caravan, or a holiday cottage, also we have a great campsite for tents”, he went on to say “this is a beautiful part of Cornwall, with lovely sandy beaches, and families can find plenty of activities to do either on the park its self or in the surrounding area”.

Like many families looking for the perfect location, holiday parks in Cornwall seem to have it all, great accommodation for the discerning traveler, plenty to do, and more importantly just a car journey away, that’s value for money.
