Dr. Carol Wintermute, CEO, HealthXL, Caregiver Stress Syndrome, Stress Reduction. In practice 25 years and with advanced degrees in sports therapy, Dr. Wintermute specializes in stress reduction. She works with athletes to improve performance, teaches anatomy and physiology, and assists special needs children. She also cared for her elderly parents in her own home while raising three daughters as a single mother.

The host, Jacqueline Marcell, barely survived caring for her challenging elderly father and sweet but ailing mother, both with Alzheimer’s which went undiagnosed for over a year. But after fighting through an unsympathetic medical system and depleting her parents’ life savings and much of her own—with sheer determination she solved the endless crisis medically and behaviorally.
