Limassol-based The Yum Company launches its organic ready meal range into Alpha Mega hypermarkets expanding its distribution across Cyprus.

The Yum Company, Limassol’s new and innovative organic food manufacturer and producer, is delighted that the company’s delicious range of 100% healthy, nutritious and freshly prepared organic meals will now be made available to customers of Alpha Mega Hypermarkets across the island.

Following a recent series of meetings between the two organisations, Alpha Mega were very happy to endorse the food products and gave the go ahead for the quick and easy ‘meals in pots’ to be made readily available in their stores in Nicosia and Limassol. The Yum Company’s home cooked range of dishes not only taste good, but they are also cleverly packaged in convenient mircro-waveable pots that can be heated up safely in minutes. Currently the range includes Chicken and Roast Vegetable Pasta, Mediterranean Bean Casserole, Creamy Salmon Pasta and Red Lentil and Vegetable Soup; more choices are being devised by the founder and inspiration behind the company, Rosemary Barnes “The dishes are ideal for feeding children and satisfying grown ups ‘on the go’ - we all need a healthy boost of nutrients and vitamins to get us through the day and because we all lead such busy, stressful lifestyles this is a great healthy option.”

Stringent European Health and Safety Standards are adhered to in The Yum Company’s eco-friendly kitchen and production facility, where ingredients sourced from organic producers on the island are used during the hand prepared manufacturing process.
