IMA Recognition Council names 2011 leadership team

Feb. 23, 2011 - NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Recognition Council, a strategic industry group of the Incentive Marketing Association, has announced its new slate of officers as the incentive trade organization plans a busy year of outreach and education efforts in the coming months.

Newly-elected President Jay Donlin of Newton Manufacturing Co., Newton, Iowa, said that the council plans to expand its corporate outreach efforts in 2011 “to promote the strategic role recognition plays in a people-centric organization.” He added outreach initiatives will include publication of a new white paper, and enriching the content of the website www.recognitioncouncil.org. Donlin noted the council is aggressively seeking new members to assist with these efforts.

Donlin is joined by Executive Vice President Susan Adams of Dittman Incentive Marketing, New Brunswick, N.J.; Vice President and Membership Chair Chuck Dahlgren of Crystal D, St. Paul, Minn.; Treasurer David H. Morrison of Bruce Fox, Inc., New Albany, Ind., and Secretary Sherry Blabolil-Das of Marketing Innovators, Rosemont, Ill.

The 2011 leadership team includes directors Jane Larson of ITAGroup, West Des Moines, Iowa, and Michelle M. Smith of O.C. Tanner, Salt Lake City, Utah both elected to their second two-year terms on the board, and Bill Termini of Hinda Incentives, Chicago, Ill., elected to his first term on the board. They join Directors LeeAnn Schumacher of Summit Group, St. Louis, Mo. and Mark Peterman of Staples Promotional Products, Kansas City, Mo.
