Steven Ford, Famed Award-Winning Producer, Featured In Upcoming Worship Conferences
(Washington, D.C.) – February 27, 2007 - Steven Ford, GRAMMY Award-winning producer and songwriter, will be sharing his vast knowledge of the music business at two upcoming conferences. Known for working with the creme of the crop in gospel music including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbett, Richard Smallwood, Vickie Winans, Shirley Caesar, Vicki Yohe, Don Moen, Alvin Slaughter, Hezekiah Walker, Stephen Hurd and Donnie McClurkin, Ford is the creative force behind hit songs like Professor Wilbur Belton & The LADWEC Mass Choir’s “Come Bless His Name”, Stephen Hurd’s “Great Praise” and Pastor Bruce Parham’s “Hide Me”. From Friday, February 27 – March 4, 2007, he will be on the road taking part in The Recovery of the Minstrel Revival Conference in Houston, TX and The Door Of Hope Church Church Praise & Worship Conference in Marion, SC.Joined by other well-known musicians such as Jonathan Dubose, Mike Frazier, Demetrius McClendon as well as Host Pastor A.J. Collins, Ford will be the Guest Speaker at The Recovery of the Minstrel Revival on Friday, March 2nd. The 4-day conference, to be held from February 27 – March 2, 2007, specifically targets those in the role of the minister of music. Topics such as the dynamics of the pastor-minister of music relationship, investment consultation and praise and worship will be addressed. The conference will take place at the Mt. Ford will also be part of the Praise & Worship Conference at the Door of Hope Christian Church. Pastored by Bishop Michael Blue, the workshop, taking place March 1 – 4, 2007, will call on the expertise of Ford as he shares his heart for ministry and the importance of praise and worship. He will be participating in the Praise & Worship Weekend, March 3 – 4, 2007. In addition to Ford, Bishop Michael Blue, Min. Michael Ross, Eld.
