Active Constructions extends service portfolio by online booking systems for climbing parks
Active Constructions (ACS), one of the leading designers and manufacturers of forest climbing parks and high ropes activity courses in Europe today introduced its new and extended service portfolio regarding integrated customer management for commercial outdoor leisure activities.“Many businesses in the Outdoor Leisure & Recreation sector struggle to process high volume gate admission and the large number of advance bookings during the lucrative summer months”, explains Kees-Jan Verwaal, the managing director of ACS. “Apart from not being able to maximise revenue on the day, if your frontend customer processing is inefficient this affects all the other administrative procedures down the line.”
“We have assessed the latest frontend automation software employed in conjunction with integrated customer management ,” continues Verwaal. “In particular systems which are already used by various adventure park operators.”
“The option to purchase tickets online provides a wide range of advantages,“ says Verwaal.“ Apart from the fact that online booking is vastly popular amongst customers – it’s practically something they expect from any business these days. Means, operators of climbing parks, nature playgrounds and outdoor theme parks can now offer multiple parallel purchase facilities to their visitors in addition to gate admission on the day, including advance sales over the phone, by email and via various online channels, such as the company website or other internet payment providers . Furthermore, state of the art online booking software also handles payment processing as well as the entire downstream accounting process which significantly reduces staff costs. And the risk of double bookings is basically reduced to zero.”
“Our decision to include online booking software by various software designers in our service package is nothing but a logical consequence of what we are already providing to our customers ,” explains Verwaal. “We’ve been advising our customers in the Leisure & Recreation sector on business strategies, IT and HR for quite a while by now. We are now in a position to help clients who operate forest adventure parks, outdoor sport centres and other types of outdoor leisure facilities with the seamless integration of a variety of frontend automation systems including online booking software into the existing infrastructure of their businesses .”
