Optimus Signs Strategic Alliance Partnership With NETGEAR for Middle East And Africa

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 2, 2011: Optimus Technology and Telecommunications, a leading regional Value Added Distributor (VAD) of IT and telecommunications products, today announced that it has signed a Strategic Alliance Partnership agreement with NETGEAR to distribute its range of products targeting the SMB segment in the region. As per the terms of the agreement, Optimus will distribute NETGEAR’s products across the Middle East and Africa with exclusive distribution rights in the countries such as Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.

The partnership complements the objectives of both companies as Optimus was looking to add a strong mid-market networking and storage brand while NETGEAR was looking for a distributor that could offer a suite of value add services along with product distribution.
