Techno-tsunami about to hit the beaches of the world

Press release from: The Beachfront Club Co., Ltd.

St. Regis Resort in Nusa Dua Beach, Bali

St. Regis Resort in Nusa Dua Beach, Bali

A techno-tsunami is about to wash over the beaches of the world – but this time it won’t be the hotels closest to the sea that suffer most damage. The biggest victims of this wave of high technology will be all of those hotels ‘just a few steps from the beach’ – those that claim to be right on the beach, but aren’t – plus all those hotels using creative advertising to mask their distance from the beach.

The new website of The Beachfront Club uses the latest mapping technology and satellite imagery to cut through the smokescreens of misleading advertising, leading beach-lovers to all of the genuine beachfront hotels of the world with amazing ease. Each qualified hotel is drawn in unprecedented detail, with the boundaries identifying the exact size, shape and position –absolutely always by the beach or waterfront.

The worst thing a hotel could have right now is a road between it and the sand. Those hotels are left off The Beachfront Club’s maps entirely. Fancy advertising has fooled lots of holiday-makers over the years, but it will not get unqualified hotels through The Club’s strict criterion for ‘true beachfront’, meaning a hotel must have no motorised traffic what-so-ever, not even a motorcycle track, between it and the beach. By using strict criteria with qualifying hotels along all beachfronts of the world this Club not only makes finding true beachfront hotels oh-so-simple, it completely removes all worries about getting misled across a road or up the street away from the beach by poor advertising.

The Beachfront Club is thus drawing a clear line down the beaches of the world, and there will be winners and losers. The latter can expect to see many would-be guests moving over to their neighbours by the sand. Qualified hotels are going to reap the rewards of having either arrived on the beach earlier than their non-beachfront neighbours, or for paying more for ‘true beachfront’ land.

What is sure is that when it washes over beaches around the world, this hi-tech website is going to have some hotels riding the crest of a wave with increased financial buoyancy and cash from beachfront loving guests, whilst the beachfront ‘pretenders’ will be cut adrift, unable to secure this coveted catch.
