As CEO Bob Allan says, "nothing beats word of mouth for finding a good contractor so we decided to take it to another level to create 'high speed word of mouth'.
Each review is independently analysed before being posted and is on the teams renovation specific review sheet - "we looked at other sites before doing this one, and all of them were rating out of 5 stars. In our mind, that leaves a large margin of error" says Bob, "by forcing reviews to be out of 100 and made up of 5 important facets of renovation, we think we will provide a lot more value for customers using the site".
The good news is, the site is free to use (you don't even need to sign in), but if someone is to submit a review, an email signature is required so that the review can be considered legitimate.

Due to the fact that every renovation provider in the cities the company is based (Canada, Australia and New Zealand) are listed, this site is definitely a good place to begin looking for that next home remodeling project.
RateThatReno.com was formed to assist those looking for a renovator and not knowing anyone who had already used them. The concept is simple. Have those that have used the renovator before, rate them using a renovation specific review sheet and then post these reviews for others to use.
