CANADA CATCHES UP TO KETO TRENDS: NEW COMPANY IS NOW SHIPPING KETO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 12, 2019

CANADA CATCHES UP TO KETO TRENDS
NEW COMPANY IS NOW SHIPPING KETO FOOD ACROSS CANADA

Barrie, ON: Krave Keto has officially launched, giving Canadians easy-access to keto entrees, desserts, and baked goods with online ordering and across-Canada shipping from its Barrie, Ontario location. The ketogenic diet has been named one of the most popular searches in Google for 2018, and while there have been a number of strong delivery options in the US, Canadians looking to follow a keto lifestyle have had to seek out one of few local options, eat at home, or resign themselves to repetitive and simple menus, often leading to poor dietary choices or failure in sticking with the diet.

“Keto is the biggest trend in food for its health benefits and weight loss results, but the food can be costly and time-consuming to make, especially in situations where only one member in the family is ‘doing keto’. We are thrilled to be offering Canadians the same kind of accessibility and convenience our US neighbours have been enjoying in specialty food delivery in recent years,” says founder Amy De Wolfe.

Dr. Anna Falkowski Hbsc, ND is a big supporter of Krave Keto and said, “As a Naturopathic Doctor I use the ketogenic diet to address a range of health concerns including metabolic disorders, blood sugar imbalances, and for weightloss. Having access to delicious keto foods and staples like low-carb bread and baked goods makes this lifestyle a lot more realistic and maintainable for many of my patients. It’s been a pleasure working with Krave Keto to provide my patients with a variety of whole-food based meals and snacks that are not only healthy but delicious!”

The customer feedback has been outstanding both in-store and online. Sara Lajeunesse, a busy mom and online personality took part in a health and fitness challenge last year and relied on Krave Keto to help her stick with her ketogenic diet plan. “I was hesitant to start Keto because of the amount of time needed to meal prep, but having discovered Krave Keto made it so much easier to get started and to stay on track! I can grab a quick Keto meal on the go or buy a few options ahead of time to have at home. Their bagels and breads are out of this world as is the Buffalo Chicken. I love the variety and having this go-to option has made my Keto journey far easier and more enjoyable.”

Another happy customer said, “OMG! Got my order. I’m so happy with it and will be ordering again very soon! Everything tastes so good!”

The Krave Keto menu was originally created by Amy’s mother, Mary who started preparing keto food at Amy’s Barrie restaurant to both support her own ketogenic diet, and to share keto options with customers. The feedback was fantastic, with people travelling from hours away to try out the keto menu. After years of watching her husband go on and off keto due to lack of time to consistently prepare proper meals, Amy knew they needed to take the keto menu country-wide. Thus, Krave Keto was born and is shipping house-made keto food directly to the customer’s door with the same homemade, small-batch flavor customers have raved about at their Barrie location.
