Neschen receives Fogra certificate
Fogra was testing the Neschen digital print medium solvoprint nolite 175 CA. On the one hand, this CA medium delivers incomparable quality and therefore facilitates the way to standardised production; on the other hand, certified print quality is ensured with solvoprint nolite 175 CA. This means comprehensive process reliability for users in large format digital printing.
With CA (Color Alliance) inkjet coating, this product is an exemplary representative of all the CA media in the Neschen product range. This also provides Neschen AG with the proof that their CA print media, together with their ICC profiles produced in-house, can meet the highest of requirements. They can therefore exactly reproduce the print conditions for commercial offset printing, dependent on the print and ink systems in use.
"Thanks to Fogra, we now have it set out in black and white: With this CA quality, we have for the first time achieved a Validation Print Standard in Large Format Printing", affirmed Friedrich Drinkuth, Senior Product Manager at Neschen AG in Bückeburg. "The uniform CA coating of our digital print media therefore delivers the basis for a large step towards standardisation in the LFP sector."
Solvoprint nolite 175 CA is a PET composite film, approximately 175 µm thick, ideal for use in Roll-Up display systems. It has been specially developed for eco-solvent and solvent inks, but can also be printed with latex and UV-hardening inks. It has good scratch resistance, is light-proof and has a high level of dimensional stability, impressing with glowing colours and high brilliance. Due to the high water resistance, solvoprint nolite 175 CA is perfectly suited for both interior and exterior applications.
Fogra Forschungsgesellschaft Druck e.V. (Fogra Graphic Technology Research Association)
The objective of Fogra is to support printing technology in the fields of research and development and to transfer the results to the printing industry for practical use. To that end, the association maintains its own institute with approximately 55 employees, including engineers, chemists and physicists.
The objective of all Fogra research projects is to increase production reliability and quality in the workplace, with the highest importance being applied to the transfer of research findings. The research findings therefore flow directly into Fogra's verification and consulting activities. The research projects also lead to control resources and print test forms. Participants of the Fogra symposiums and training sessions receive the latest knowledge firsthand.
