Press release from: The Beachfront Club Co., Ltd.

Beachfront Hotel in Thailand

Beachfront Hotel in Thailand

By certifying ‘qualified’ hotels as ‘true beachfront’, and giving visitors detailed proof of their absolute beachfront locations, The Beachfront Club seems set to stir up hotels and bookings along the beaches of the world.

The first-ever global authority on beachfront hotels has emerged, awarding ‘true beachfront’ qualifications to hotels that meet its stringent criteria: no roads or traffic between the hotel and the beach. This hi-tech newcomer, The Beachfront Club, has certified over 8,000 accommodations around the world as ‘true beachfront’ , and expects about 10,000 will eventually be found and qualified.

Kicking sand in the face of tradition and snob value, it includes in its membership accommodations ranging from budget to 5-star – just so long as they are right on the beach or waterfront.

To prove that its qualified hotels are genuinely on the beach, this on-line club has created almost 2,000 beach maps that display the qualified hotels by their boundaries, illustrating the exact shape, size and position of each in detail never seen before. Below these lie satellite images, providing additional verification.

Hotels that claim to be on the beach, but in reality are not, have been eliminated, making the job of finding true beachfront hotels simple as never before. Beach lovers can now find and book accommodations right on the beach in almost 100 countries with no fear of being duped by the misleading advertising that has become notorious in the industry.

This separation of ‘true beachfront’ hotels and the ‘pretenders’ is sure to create a windfall for those on the ‘right’ side of the line that The Beachfront Club has now drawn down the beaches of the world. Hotels that force guests to cross roads to the beach may never be the same.

Hotels on headlands or cliff tops may also be qualified. The glitzy 5-star resorts mushrooming along the high cliffs of The Bukit, in Bali, explains the club’s Definitions, satisfy the same desire to ‘return to the ocean’ for some people as a trip to a hot, sandy beach does for others. But they must pass the stringent ‘no roads’ criteria.

The Club says it has already located many ‘remote’ resorts, or those on beaches distant from other hotels for which it cannot draw its standard maps. These, it says, will be drawn into a coming generation of ‘remote resort’ maps.

The website is being built with interactivity at all levels, and hotels may register and take control of their own 7-page site-within-the-site. Hotels can upload information and photos and return for updating at any time. The service, including the 7-pages for each hotel, is free.

However, the Club sells a Premium Membership for a monthly fee, calculated to match the average daily room rate of any destination. This offers high visibility across the site, a link for visitors to book the hotel directly and a range of advantages over the Standard, free service.

The Club is not a booking engine, and will use affiliate partnerships with many well-known booking services to allow visitors to book directly from each hotel’s pages. Agoda was the first to sign up this new site.

Hoteliers who believe that their properties qualify can check to see if they are already included among the 8,000 plus currently mapped, or contact The Club if they have been overlooked in this beta version.
