Bahar Festival of Music and Dance in Navi Mumbai

Aadi Shakti Sangeet Kala Kendra, a premier academy for Classical and Contemporary Music and Dance form is celebrating the Bahar festival, an evening of music and dance extravaganza at the CIDCO auditorium, Navi Mumbai, on 8th February, 7 PM onwards

The theme of this years extravaganza is:
Visage - The face of Indian Music.

The occasion would be graced by eminent personalities from the music and film industry. Dr. Sudhakar Pathare, IPS, DCP Navi Mumbai would be the Guest of Honour. This event is the grand finale in the series of 3 Bahar festivals, the first one was organized in Dubai, and the second one in Mumbai on 2nd February.

The 2019 Bahar festival showcases a Kaleidoscope of regional Indian dance and music with the Students from Aadi Shakti Mumbai and Navi Mumbai portraying the wealth and diversity of fine art forms in India.

ASSKK is the heart and soul of Shree Atit Kumar Pandey, eminent vocalist and one of the leading classical dancers of India, Tabla maestro and multi instrumentalist Shree Ankit Kumar and Keyboard maestro, vocalist and music composer Shree Amit Kumar.

India has a very rich cultural heritage. Classical music has been one of its invaluable treasures.

Aadi Shakti Music and Dance Academy (Aadi Shakti Sangeet Kala Kendra) started its musical journey from Patna, in 2006, under the tutelage of Shri Janardan Pandey. The objective was to preserve and promote the richness of Indian classical music and dance.

In an attempt to make classical music available to every household, Shri Janardan Pandey decided to sow a seed which led to the birth of Aadi Shakti Sangeet Kala Kendra in the year 2006; a small step towards the realization of a larger dream. Shri Janardan Pandey set an example by making his sons, Shri Amit Kumar, Shri Ankit Kumar and Shri Atit Kumar musicians of great calibre and skill.

His family now works in unison towards achieving a common dream. Their strength lies in their shared vision and unity.
