Jim Parker is the President of Meridian Strategic Advisors, a firm dedicated to assisting emerging health care firms achieve growth and industry differentiation through effective industry and government stakeholder management. Prior to establishing Meridian Strategic Advisors, Jim served in a number of significant leadership roles within WellPoint, Inc., the nation’s largest health benefit company. These roles included Chief of Staff to Angela Braly, WellPoint Inc.’s President and CEO; Senior Vice President and President of WellPoint Inc.’s Federal Government Solutions Division; President of the Federal Employee Health Benefit Plans Business Unit; President of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Maine Business Unit; and Vice President of Public Affairs for Anthem Inc.
