Metal Guard has Moly-Fusion technology which utilizes oil as a transport mechanism and is activated under extreme heat and pressure to activate when needed most. MetalGuard seeks the asperities in metal and bonds 5-8 microns into the metal working with ferrous particulates to penetrate into and treat the metal. Metal Guard does not layer the metal or put a film over it, MetalGuard does not contain harmful chemicals, Teflon’s, metal or plastic elements found in less performing treatments. Metal Guard has been ASTM tested and also independently tested to assure it works. With over 20 ASTM and SAE tests being performed on MetalGuard, consumers can rest assured that MetalGuard is working hard to reduce down time maintenance.
