Recently Released Novel "The Dreamer Dreamed" by Robert C. Worstell, Midwest Journal Press

A recently released novel delves into what dreams mean and explains how to find this out personally. Non-fiction self-help author Dr. Robert C. Worstell explores lucid dreaming and dream control through his novel, "The Dreamer Dreamed."Available soon to major online and brick-and-mortar bookstores, this 368-page pocket-paperback is also available as both PDF and epub downloads.

December 09, 2010 - Mexico, Missouri -- What do dreams mean? Really? Most people wonder about this, but few take the time to find out. Dr. Robert C. Worstell has made this easy to study, by writing and publishing a modern New Age novel which takes up the various thoughts and discussions on this subject in his new fiction work. Available in the largest online bookstores, such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble, this 368-page pocket paperback is available also for instant download through Lulu.com - a digital print publisher. If your interested in learning how to lucid dream or dream control, then this is a fascinating excursion into the unknown recesses of your own mind.

"It seemed the logical next step in researching the human condition," Dr. Worstell commented in a recent interview, "achieving enlightenment has become a simple series of steps now, so the other major area that is left is the undiscovered country of dreams."

Dr. Worstell has been researching the human condition for over 35 years, devoting the last decade almost exclusively to boiling down the essence of what makes self-help and personal development programs successful. While this research resulted in publishing over two dozen books, as well as numerous whitepapers, articles, videos, and podcasts, Dr. Worstell is also known for maintaining several dozen blogs just to keep up with his prolific output.

His recent novel, "The Dreamer Dreamed" is available through Lulu.com (http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/the-dreamer-dreamed/13851774) and is being distributed through them to major booksellers internationally.

Dr. Worstell credits National Novel Writing Month and nanowrimo.org for the impetus to write this last work. "Actually, I had finished up my serious work on self-help, writing my final book in that earlier this year. I was reminded that November had this challenge going, so it was a perfect platform to explore a spiritual training topic that had been back-burnered for quite a while."

The Dreamer Dreamed took him about 1 1/2 weeks to write, and then a few more weeks to edit and publish. Using Lulu.com made it simple, as well as his graphic arts background and years of experience editing.

No stranger to controversy, Dr. Worstell mentions that this novel solves age-old conundrums such as astral walking, remote viewing, and accessing the Akashic Records. While he doesn't give these answers out directly in his book, the references are there so that anyone can find them. He also notes that this makes nightmares understandable - and so less scary.

"The point was to make all this information accessible. Fiction was the logical choice to reach a broader audience," Dr. Worstell explained his strategy. "People are getting a lot of their learning done through TV and movies, as well as popular fiction - far more hours than they ever spend in school, no matter how many degrees they have. And even savvy teachers long ago found out that the more entertaining their lessons were, the better people were able to readily understand and apply the data taught."

Another interesting point is that he's also included a Prequel for one of the characters, plus a section-by-section commentary to explain the more metaphysical and philosophic points touched on during the scope of the novel. This is all designed, along with a readable format, so that it's easy to grasp these former exclusively ivory tower academic concepts.
