On DER HUT 14, German techno aficionado Felix Bernhardt comes along with wavering minimal compositions. According to the track titles “Black Donkey” and “Die lustige Lokomotive” (The funny locomotive), playfulness is an important part of Bernhardt`s musical concept. Whereas “Black Donkey” is a massive piece of bass concentration mixed with a rotund sound structure, sampled vocals and a thrilling build-up for explosive dancefloor moments, “Die lustige Lokomotive” starts with playful, melodic bleeps which are merging into a hammering peaktime track – quirky, dynamic and groovy.

The remix by Wahrlich & Carbon comes along rougher and more minimalist than the original. The track develops its own force due to its distinctive yet spare melodic sequences.
