Invention was based on simple observation: each business struggles with different issues which are characterized as totally unique to it, meanwhile it is possible to categorize the most business challenges using just five aspects:
1. What are we going to change or achieve? (benefit)

3. What business processes will be improved?
4. What is specific to this issue taking into consideration the industry we are in?
5. How are we going to measure results of this project? – (Key Performance Indicators)
Once software products are identified there is good moment for customer to contact software vendors and show them what exactly customer is going to achieve. Having vendors answers customer can make specific for his organization next steps related to software purchasing.
inlevel provides a standard way of categorizing business solutions using a set of well defined and commonly used categories: business benefits, business areas, business processes, key performance indicators and industry.
