Kid Rock who will turn 40 on January 17, 2011 is furious with the ticket scalpers who are trying to cash the hype of Kid’s birthday concert at his native city Detroit. The Cowboy singer will be performing his first ever native concert titled “40 Field” at Ford Field on January 15, 2011, just two days before his 40th birthday. The rumors are already in the air that ticket brokers are selling Kid Rock birthday show tickets at extremely high prices. This came as a great shock to the singer who tries to keep the prices of his concert tickets as minimum as possible so fans from all communities can enjoy his live shows.Kid Rock follows a huge fan base and approximately all his 45000 tickets offered for “40 Field” were sold out just in 19 minutes. The 5 times Grammy awards nominator finds himself into darkness on how to control the pricing policies of these selfish ticket brokers to give some relief to his fans whom he thinks as his family members and friends particularly when more than 180,000 tickets were sold for shows just in Detroit in past 14 months. He advises his fans either not to buy kid rock tickets from these brokers or wait till the prices fall down.
Kid Rock released his 8th studio album “Born Free” on November 16 that reached at number five spot on the 200 chart. This new album from Rock also features guest duets by Sheryl Crow, Bob Seger and T.I. The soon to be 40 singer is determined to start a new rocking career with his new tour that will debut on January 15, 2011 with his birthday concert in support of his new album “Born Free”. The dates for the further performances have been revealed and presale ticketing for the tour will begin on December 1st.
Kid Rock accompanied by his Twisted Brown Trucker band will be touring across all the major US cities including performances at Ohio, Kansas, Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky. The tour will run through March with final performance on March 3rd in Memphis, TN at the FedEx Forum. Kid Rocks plan to add more dates later in 2011.
Kid Rock will be one of those pioneer singers performing at the newly opened arena named KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky on February 11, 2011; the sale of the show tickets will go on December 3rd.
