Bühler Motor prototyping:Electrical motor and geartrain testing

Faster, more flexible, more powerful and with superior process safety.

Nuremberg, 29th November 2010 - Completing an order within 2 days, which previously would have taken one week, is the best way to demonstrate the advantage of the newly organized and expanded prototyping section at our site in Nuremberg.

With the merger of the tooling and prototyping machine shops, and by moving next door to the labo-ratory and component inventory, we realized advantages that are not limited to shorter transit times and shorter build times. Our flexibility was also improved. Now the sample manufacturing area is fully equipped with an ESD floor, and provides a capacity for manufacturing quantities from hand built samples to limited mass production of several hundred pieces.

A high process competence is what stands out in prototyping at Bühler Motor. Each step is fully documented and is traceable. Comprehensive metrology ensures tight tolerances, including single parts. Our Nuremberg prototyping experts are able to produce prototypes which are providing at an early stage many of the critical characteristics of later mass production. With in-house prototyping and tool fabrication, Bühler Motor is able to reduce test times and development cycles, and save our customers valuable time.
