Wise Buddah appoints joint mds as Goodier steps up

Mark Goodier, Wise Buddah managing director, is stepping up to the role of chairman as he appoints head of talent Chris North and head of studios and technology Dave Holt as joint managing directors of Wise Buddah Creative, the content talent and facilities business.

The restructure takes place from 13 November and enables Goodier in his new chairmanship role to concentrate on building high level relationships to bring new business to the company.

As joint managing directors of Wise Buddah Creative, North and Holt will take over the day-to-day running of the company and will play a key role in shaping the future strategy of the business. They will also retain their current department responsibilities.

North joined Wise Buddah in 2000 from the Radio Academy. He moved to Wise Buddah Talent in 2001 as an agent and became head of talent in 2006. He helped Wise Buddah Talent pick up a 2007 Sony Gold for the Best Internet Programme Award.

Holt joined Wise Buddah in 2004 upon graduating from university. He has worked across sound engineer and technical roles from 2006 before he became head of studio facilities in 2009. He has been responsible for redeveloping and upgrading Wise Buddah’s studio department, and oversees the technical investment and development of the Wise Buddah Creative group.
