The knowledge report, ‘Doing well by doing good - mapping the CSR space in India’ has been published by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), in partnership with Consultivo, Knowledge Partner, during the Social Impact Summit in Kolkata, on 11 Jan 2019.

The knowledge report on Mapping the CSR Space in India is based on the study with the objective to understand the CSR happenings in India in terms of legislative compliance, developmental initiatives with reference to respective thematic areas and alignment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The report measures CSR compliance issues among Indian Corporates, it highlights the strategic role of CSR and the importance of developing objective and scientific tools to measure and evaluate it.

It analyses the aspects related to CSR such as policy, committee, director’s reports, annual disclosure and spends of companies as on 31 March 2018. Various case studies have been discussed in the report which shows that the organisations are actively contributing towards India’s demographic social development by investing in CSR which is a part of inclusive growth, both for the organisation and the society.
